Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all transactions made with Noble Charge Private Limited ("Noble Charge") through our website noblecharge.in or any other official channel, including payments made via our Razorpay payment gateway.
We request you to read this Policy carefully before making any payment. By completing a transaction with Noble Charge, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Policy.
1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to all payments made by customers for:
- Purchase of EV charging equipment (AC chargers, DC chargers, 2W/3W chargers).
- Installation and commissioning services.
- Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) fees.
- Site assessment and consultation fees.
- Advance bookings and token payments.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation by Customer
- Before Order Confirmation: Enquiries and quote requests carry no financial obligation. You may withdraw without any charges before formal order confirmation and advance payment.
- Within 48 Hours of Advance Payment: If you cancel within 48 hours of making an advance payment, a full refund will be issued after deducting any bank/payment gateway charges (typically 2–3%).
- After 48 Hours but Before Dispatch/Commencement: A cancellation charge of up to 20% of the order value may be levied to cover administrative and procurement costs. The balance will be refunded.
- After Dispatch or Commencement of Installation: No cancellation is permitted once goods have been dispatched to the site or installation work has commenced. Costs incurred up to that point are non-refundable.
- AMC Contracts: AMC contracts may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice prior to the renewal date. There are no refunds for the unexpired portion of a current AMC term.
2.2 Cancellation by Noble Charge
Noble Charge reserves the right to cancel an order under the following circumstances:
- Payment verification failure or fraud suspicion.
- Inability to fulfil the order due to stock unavailability or unforeseen supply chain disruptions.
- Site conditions found to be unviable during assessment.
- Force majeure events.
In such cases, a full refund of any advance payment received will be issued within 7 business days.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are applicable in the following scenarios:
- Order cancelled within 48 hours of advance payment (see Section 2.1).
- Order cancelled by Noble Charge (see Section 2.2).
- Product found to be defective on delivery, subject to inspection and verification.
- Double payment or excess payment made due to a technical error.
- Failed transaction where the amount was debited but payment was not confirmed — these are typically auto-reversed by Razorpay/your bank within 5–7 business days.
3.2 Non-Refundable Amounts
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Payments made for services already rendered (consultation, site assessment, completed installation).
- Payment gateway transaction fees charged by Razorpay or the customer's bank.
- Advance payments for customized or made-to-order equipment that has already entered production.
- AMC fees for the current active service period.
- Any amounts for work partially completed at the customer's site.
3.3 Refund Process
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@noblecharge.in with your order reference number, payment details, and reason for the request.
- Refund requests will be acknowledged within 2 business days.
- Noble Charge will review and process eligible refunds within 7–10 business days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment source (bank account, UPI, credit/debit card) used for the transaction.
- For payments made by cheque or NEFT, refunds will be made via bank transfer to the account provided by the customer.
4. Failed & Duplicate Transactions
4.1 Failed Transactions
If your payment fails after the amount has been debited from your account:
- In most cases, Razorpay or your bank will automatically reverse the amount within 5–7 business days.
- If the amount is not reversed within 7 business days, please contact us with your transaction reference and we will coordinate with Razorpay on your behalf.
4.2 Duplicate Payments
If you have been charged more than once for the same transaction:
- Notify us immediately at info@noblecharge.in with both payment receipts.
- The duplicate charge will be refunded within 7 business days after verification.
5. Product Defect / Returns
- If a product is found to be damaged or defective at the time of delivery, it must be reported within 48 hours of receipt with photographic/video evidence.
- Noble Charge will inspect the claim and, if valid, offer a replacement or repair at no additional cost.
- Returns are accepted only for genuine manufacturing defects verified by our technical team. Products damaged due to improper handling, misuse, or unauthorized tampering are not eligible for return or refund.
